Coriandrum sativum plants (coriander) provide two types of herbal raw materials – fruits and leaves. First you need to buy a tea infuser for making tea from fresh leaves of Cilantro or dried leaves. If you don’t have a tea infuser, you can simply boil its leaves in a sauce pan, covered with a lid. Strain the tea leaves after 10 minutes of boiling. Place your fresh or dried cilantro leaves into an infuser and place it on a heat safe bowel or cup. Fill this bowel or cup with boiling water and let its leaves steep for 5 to 10 minutes. After steeping, pour the tea in a teacup. You can add honey or sugar as per your need to flavor the tea. You can also add lemon to enhance the flavor of Cilantro tea.
